This cotton tee is hand-embroidered with a spiral and two butterfly motifs, inspired by a line in Mahmoud Darwish's poem "Sonnet V" in which he writes “...one chrysalis at a time.”

This tee is an ode to the circumstances of life which push us to evolve, the tensions present in between tiny revolutions, the patience and trust required in a metamorphosis, and the new life on the other side of it all.
